Purpose:
Use this guide to reflect as a team on what you learned from the curated by OOLD. This is an opportunity to reflect on how we can make our meetings more intentional, purposeful, and a more effective way of collaborating. Even small shifts can make a big difference if we’re open to experimenting and learning together.
Discussion Questions:
- What’s one idea from the videos that challenged how you think about meetings? Did it make you reconsider something you’ve gotten used to?
- Think of a recent meeting you attended—what worked well and what could have been better? How could some of the strategies from the videos have improved it?
- What does a “good meeting” look like for us? Let’s define what we want our team meetings to feel and function like.
- How can we make our agendas clearer and more useful? What would help us stay focused and finish on time more often?
- How do we make sure everyone’s voice is heard? Are there ways we could share facilitation, use silence intentionally, or check in with quieter folks?
- What small change could we try in our next meeting to make it more purposeful or engaging? Let’s pick something simple and give it a go. What support do we need from one another to make that happen?
