Area Desks
UM Housing has four Area Desks that serve our students during the academic year. Check in at the Area Desk for your Residence Hall:
- : Craig, Duniway, and Elrod Hall residents
- : Jesse, Turner, and Knowles Hall residents
- : Miller and Pantzer Hall residents
- : Aber Hall residents
Area Desks open for check-in at 9:00 a.m. on January 12.
If you arrive when the desk is closed, call the on-call number posted on your halls' front door. A staff member will meet you at the desk to complete a check-in.
What You Need for Check-in
- Mobile Griz Card or photo ID
- Your Mobile Griz Card provides access to hall doors, floor doors (where applicable) and room doors (where applicable).
- If you do not have a Mobile Griz Card yet, request temporary access card.
- Must be returned within 7 days.
- Only students can check into their room. Parents cannot pick up keys.
Students should submit a photo for their Griz Card online and complete the process prior to arriving on campus. See the Griz Card Center - Get Your Griz Card webpage for details and instructions.
Parking
The UM Parking Services Department oversees parking at the 91视频. Move-in is a busy time and you should avoiding leaving vehicles in "quick stop" parking spaces for longer than the allowed time period. Please note that ticketing will still occur in reserved, quick stop, handicap, and no-overnight parking areas.
